Battery Electrolyte Level & Thermal Sensor
To ensure the safe operation of traction batteries, regular inspections are required. It is essential to pay attention to any signs of deterioration and carry out appropriate repairs, especially in cases of electrolyte leakage and insulation damage.
Battery condition checks can be combined with regular maintenance inspections. A component that facilitates monitoring the presence of electrolyte in the battery box is a liquid presence sensor in the box.
Features:
- equipped with a green LED that lights up when the electrolyte level is correct
- a flashing red LED signals battery overheating
- a solid red LED signals that the electrolyte level is below the minimum
- simple sensor installation
- perfect connection to battery terminals
- connection for batteries with screw-type terminals
- acid-resistant
- not sensitive to incorrect polarity connection
the sensor does not discharge individual cells
Advantages:
- easy assessment of low electrolyte level
- signals battery overheating in one indicator
- reduced operational errors
- correct timing for water refilling
extended maintenance-free period
Benefits:
- low daily maintenance costs
- reduced expenses for maintenance supplies
- lower operating costs
- reduced battery servicing expenses
extended time before the next investment
