Electrolyte Mixing System EUW (ELEKTROLYTUMWALZUNG)

Lead-acid traction batteries can be optionally equipped with an electrolyte mixing system designed to eliminate electrolyte stratification and reduce the charging factor. Electrolyte mixing is achieved through a continuous or intermittent stream of air released near the bottom inside the cell containers. The air is delivered via flexible tubes from an air pump to the air inlet in each cell. Proper safeguards must be in place to prevent confusion between the air supply system and the water supply system for refilling the electrolyte to the correct level in individual battery cells.

Features:

  • connection to the system via the battery plug
  • single-point system connection to the installation
  • charging in 5.5h to 6h
  • circulation pump mounted in the rectifier
  • PVC piping system

Advantages:

  • energy-efficient
  • reduced water consumption
  • low-maintenance
  • shorter charging time
  • lower charging temperature
  • less frequent servicing
  • reduced gas emissions

Benefits:

  • 1/3 lower energy consumption costs
  • 10 times lower water refilling costs
  • longer lifespan reduces investment needs
  • lower operating costs
  • reduced expenses for battery servicing
  • extended time before the next investment
  • lower investment costs for ventilation installations
  • battery available 1/3 faster
  • one battery instead of two
